2017 marks our first year, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been around for a while! In fact, the lodge was originally an icehouse built in 1908. In the 1950s it became a community theater, after that it was sold and stood untouched for nearly 50 years. We’ve spent the last two years restoring the building top to bottom, reusing as much of the original materials as possible. We hope that the people who share the respect, enthusiasm and love for outdoor recreation in the Cascades will use it as a base camp, embracing common spaces and fostering the community aspect of mountain life in a unique and authentic way.
